Fall Foliage Report

Dig out your fall sweaters, because fall is officially on the way.
According to I Love New York’s fall foliage report, which tracks the appearance of autumnal hues in trees across the state, signs of the change in season are beginning to pop up in the Adirondacks and Catskills regions.
I Love New York released the first fall foliage report of the year last week. The state tourism organization will continue to post foliage reports every Wednesday, along with a map that indicates how close to peak colors in specific regions are.
The Adirondacks and Catskills regions are right on track in terms of seasonal color changes. Western New York’s trees are expected to turn color last week of September, reaching peak in the second or third week of October, the Daily News reports.
