Kriskindlemart starts Friday at the Broadway Market

Forget the craziness of the usual Black Friday festivities and check out this local market instead.

The Broadway Market will again host Kriskindlemart, beginning this Friday featuring local wineries, specialty food vendors, holiday crafters and the Broadway Market’s traditional holiday foods including hams, sausage, fish, Russian mushrooms, breads and sweets.

With the arrival of Santa Claus this week, guests can shop for local goods and holiday foods while the kids can visit St. Nick every Saturday until Dec. 24.

Live performances and entertainment will be on hand throughout the market this season as well. Also, parking is free for patrons in the Broadway Market ramp.

According to their website, “Since 1888, the Broadway Market has been known for unique products and personal services, with meat and poultry stands, produce counters, bakeries, candy stands and restaurants. Family-owned businesses passed from generation to generation, continue to create some of Buffalo’s best loved foods.”
