Mark Zuckerberg kills buffalo

Mark Zuckerberg placed a giant buffalo head in a popular conference room at Facebook’s Palo Alto headquarters.
Apparently, the jokester Facebook CEO killed the bison himself back in September as part of his eat-what-you-kill diet he’s been hawking. He told Fortune in an email:
“I don’t have an issue with anything people choose to eat, but I do think they should take responsibility and be thankful for what they eat rather than trying to ignore where it came from.”
But the social network mogul hasn’t become some ravenous carnivore. He continued, “I’ve basically become a vegetarian,” aside from eating the meat from animals he’s killed himself.
So what about this bison head at Facebook’s offices? According to UK’s Daily Mail, Billy—yep, that’s the buffalo’s name—was a prank directed toward Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who favors that particular conference room. The bison’s head is often dressed with Facebook gear, All Things D writer Kara Swisher said in her blog. The photo features Billy the buffalo and Swisher, who posted the photo to her blog earlier this week.
