The FBI has released never-before-seen files that describe three individuals’ accounts of a UFO crash near Roswell, N.M., the Telegraph reports. The documents are available for viewing in “the vault,” a database that archives public FBI files.

One 1950 document includes a statement from special agent Guy Hottel. He describes “three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico.”
The flying saucers were “described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter.” Unlike the super-hot Katy Perry variety of extraterrestrials, the beings occupying the UFOs were “of human shape but only 3 feet tall,” Hottel describes in the document.
