Show your love for New York state

Everyone says that they love New York, but now it is time to put words into action by sharing your most meaningful experiences.
New York state’s division of tourism, I Love New York, is asking its U.S. and international visitors to sketch what they love about the state’s 11 vacation regions, hundreds of attractions, destinations and endless experiences.
On Tuesday, from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Walden Galleria, visitors will be able to exchange the iconic “I Heart NY” logo with their own drawing of what they love about the Empire state. This is a one day event that is taking place simultaneously in New York City and Albany as well.
The “I Love NY” logo was created by Milton Glaser from his original sketch made in the back seat of a taxi cab nearly 40 years ago. Now you can put the heart back into New York by sharing the passion, experiences and lure of iconic destinations and attractions of the state itself.
For those of you that can’t make it to the event, you can email submissions to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or visit the official website, beginning on May 9.
