Scenes from the 14th annual Light the Night Walk - PHOTOS

by BuffaloDotCom  •

A real-life text message from Buffalo.com promo team member Kelsey A. to me after the 14th annual Light the Night Walk at Delaware Park last night: "The event was great. We got there early and we had every single person we ask say yes to pictures and were really enthusiastic about it." It's always powerful to see so many Western New Yorkers out in support of a good cause -- in this case, the battle against lymphoma and leukemia. Nearly 45,000 new cases of leukemia were diagnosed in 2011, and 663,000 people live with some form of lymphoma -- best wishes to all of those dedicated to the fight against these diseases. For more information, visit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society online.
