5 random facts about Jake McCabe

Despite winning a gold medal as Team USA‘s captain for the 2013 World Junior Hockey Championships, Buffalo Sabres prospect Jake McCabe is just like you and me.
The Eau Claire, Wis. native finished the tournament in Ufa, Russia with three goals, three assists and a +9 rating in seven games—and has grabbed the attention of Sabres fans all over Buffalo.
Here’s a quick list of five random facts about the University of Wisconsin defenseman.
5.—He is a fan of Sons of Anarchy.
4.—He has an adorable little dog, named Griffin.
3.—He’s a fan of Eli Young Band.
2.—He doesn’t particularly enjoy eight hour flights.
1.—He already knows how to lift a world championship cup.
