Best Finn McCool costume - VOTE

The drizzly Saturday morning was appropriate for the Finn McCool 4-Mile Odyssey, as runners scaled walls, crawled through mud and slogged through Cazenovia Creek. Much like the typically-rainy Shamrock Run and the often bitter-cold Turkey Trot, competitors chose creative costumes, and we want you to help us find the best one.
See our gallery here to vote. There’s full Sabres garb, medical scrubs, pirate costumes and plenty of kilts, which I’m sure all became added obstacles—but huge style points—in the sloppy journey. The entry period to submit photos has closed.
You can vote by clicking the “thumbs up” or the “thumbs down” from now through Friday, Sept. 14. The costumed runner with the most votes will receive a $50 gift certificate to Excuria Salon & Day Spa in Williamsville—you know, for cleaning up the mess from this past weekend (especially the pesky Caz mud from under your toenails. The runner-up receives two passes to Dipson Theatres.
