Bills jersey wedding mystery solved

blog by S.J. Velasquez • May 08, 2012 @ 11:40am
A Bills fan and his wife have found their wedding photo album in Florida almost five years after their nuptials.
A Southwest Florida International Airport employee discovered the wedding album in 2008 and held on to it, trying to track down its owners. She recently contacted a local news station, hoping that the owners of the album—which included photos of a minister donning a Buffalo Bills jersey—might come forward.
Rochester’s news channel 8 picked up the story, asking viewers if the album had a Western New York connection.
Turns out, the mystery groom is a Bills fan from Indiana. The minister—the bride’s father—sported the Marshawn Lynch jersey as a funny nod to his now son-in-law.
Channel 8 reported in an updated newscast that the couple was married Dec.15, 2007 on Sanibel Island. The bride’s mother accidentally left the wedding album in the Florida airport as the newlyweds, Michael and Jessica Heavilon, headed to their honeymoon destination.
