Hockey Night in Amherst

Looks like hockey fans will have a new spot to hang out while the NHL season is on hold.
Every Tuesday beginning Oct. 16, The Amherst Ale House will play host to a meet and greet series entitled “Hockey Night in Amherst” featuring some of the Buffalo Sabres most popular current and former players. Kicking off Hockey Night in Amherst will be Nathan Gerbe— fans can also get autographs and photos taken with players.
Other participating players include the following:
Patrick Kaleta—10/23
Cody McCormick—10/30
Rob Ray—11/06
Andrew Peters—11/13
Jay McKee—11/20
The events will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on those selected dates, while the NHL is still locked out. Guests should come hungry with food and drink specials including half-priced pepperoni pizzas and half-priced pitchers.
