Paddle among the grain elevators and through Buffalo’s historic downtown industrial zone beginning Friday, when BFLO Harbor Kayak kicks off the summer season.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, BFLO Harbor Kayak will offer kayak rentals, tours and lessons. Prices vary for rentals, depending on the kind of boat and the desired length of time spent paddling.

One hour for a single kayak, for example, is $15. That same one-person kayak for a half-day is $35. For more information about pricing on tandem boats and standing boats, visit the BFLO Harbor Kayak website.

For paddlers looking for some structured group fun, consider signing up for a guided tour, including the brand new sunset tours on Tuesday nights. A full schedule of offered tours is available online.

Those interested in testing out the standup paddleboards can sign up for lessons, offered at various times throughout the week.
