Pat Kane is less than intimidating in Europe

As Sam Page put it in his story, “Patrick Kane Is Just A Cool Bro Chilling In A Post-Apocalyptic Hell-Earth.”

Kane, a South Buffalo native would be playing as an all-star forward for the Chicago Blackhawks if regular NHL hockey was in-season.

In a story from Deadspin, the website came across the roster page for Patrick Kane’s new team during the NHL lockout, Switzerland’s EHC Biel. While the rest of the team is placed in front of flaming backgrounds and battle-ready poses, it seems Kane missed photo day.

Alongside Tyler Seguin from the Boston Bruins, the two NHL stars are poorly photoshopped wearing their new team’s jersey, amidst the fiery background. And as Deadspin explained, the “no shirts, battle axe optional” photos are fairly hilarious, like a scene out of the movie “300.”

Here is a screen shot from EHC Biel’s website of the team roster.

Shall we play a game of “which of these things is not like the other?”

Here is a video from the Buffalo native in action:
