Once renovations are complete, Ralph Wilson Stadium will boast more bathrooms, additional vendor space, enhanced gate entrances and improved technology throughout the complex.

With the Bills’ 10-year lease agreement comes $130 million in upgrades to Ralph Wilson Stadium, BuffaloBills.com reported earlier today.

“The proposed changes will significantly enhance the fan experience and bring new energy into the historic building,” said Scott Radecic, senior principal at Populous, the architecture firm selected to make changes to the Orchard Park stadium. “The renovations will include the addition of quality amenities and improved technology that will ensure that Buffalo Bills’ fans have a memorable experience each and every game day.”

Renovations, which will be completed in phases from now until early 2015, include some of the following projects:

- Implementation of new technology throughout the building. This will include new video display boards in the east end of the stadium.
- Creation of a new west end plaza, inclusive of a new team store and enhanced gate entries.
- Renovated and expanded concessions and restrooms.
- Training Facility renovation and expansion to enhance team player areas.

Populous has worked with 30 NFL teams and more than 80 universities to design or renovate their football stadiums, according to the Bills’ news release.
