Rochester Amerks make a cameo at Olympics

Even the Rochester Amerks are getting some love at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
While America’s new sweetheart, Gabrielle Douglas won the all-around gold medal in women’s gymnastics, her brother, John Douglas was rocking a New Era Amerks hat. Here is a photo of the two, courtesy of twitter.
According to the Amerks, Douglas has no connection with the team but probably wore the hat to show off some American-Olympic pride. He may even be unaware that it was the official logo for an AHL team. Either way, it looks good!
