FC Buffalo vs. Greater Binghamton FC - PHOTOS

Rain has played an intricate role in ruining people's weekend in Buffalo. Eric Church ended up canceling his headlining gig at Taste of Country on Friday and Sunday's Gus Maker tournament was postponed due to the potential of rain. A little rain didn't stop FC Buffalo from taking the field against Binghamton FC earlier today at All-High Stadium in North Buffalo.
The Blitzers were still looking for their first notch in the win column this season and they were determined to pull it off, rain or shine. Ultimately the crowd at All-High got to see how FC Buffalo and Binghamton adapted to the weather because the first half of the match was played in cool overcast skies - which is awesome for a sideline photographer. The second half of the match, which was saw yellow and red cards handed out like Halloween candy, was played in a moderately heavy drizzle -- which isn't awesome for a sideline photographer.
FC Buffalo's Kendell McFayden score the Blitzers two goals (his first and second of the season) and led our hometown boys to a 2-1 win over Binghamton FC. FC Buffalo's next game is this Friday, June 8 at All-High Stadium with a 7pm start time. The first 250 fans receive an FC Buffalo yellow and blue cowbell -- which will make for an awesome noisemaker during the match and in the office which will surely please your coworkers. Hope to see all of you there!
