Queen City Roller Girls: Alley Kats outlast Suicidal Saucies

A large and supportive crowd of Roller Derby fans flooded into the Rainbow Rink to watch the Alley Kats vs. the Suicidal Saucies in their first bout of the year. The Alley Kats took an 86-61 lead at halftime, only to see the Saucies make it a tight contest late. The Kats prevailed 144-135 -- both the Alley Kats and Nickel City Knockouts each have one win in 2012.
