Head coach Dennis Gilbert trusted his offense on the season's biggest play, opting for a game-winning two-point conversion attempt instead of a game-tying extra point. Quarterback Chad Kelly made the blitzing Crusaders pay with a short toss to wide open Yanni Zulia. On Nov. 17, St. Joe's will have a chance to repeat as MMAA champions against the same foe as 2010 -- the St. Francis Red Raiders.
