The UB Bulls men's basketball team opened the season with a 72-65 victory against the St. Peter's Peacocks. Students packed the True Blue bleachers and were extremely vocal in their support of the home team. UB held a comfortable lead at halftime and held on for the victory, withstanding a strong finish by the Peacocks who pulled within four points with 53 seconds remaining.
