Angry Bills fans turn to fisticuffs - VIDEO
Fights are not a rare occurrence at Buffalo Bills games, but they're typically broken up quickly and are based off some disagreement between fans of opposing teams.
This fight at the Bills' home opener against Kansas City, however, is a little different. Two Bills fans, one wearing a Marshawn Lynch jersey -- you couldn't have scripted it better! -- start throwing hay-makers, and there are bloody noses, curses about mothers and chaos everywhere. As the YouTube poster billieve83 notes, the two punches are at 1:04 and 1:26.
Some of the lines, like "showin' off for your woman, huh?" and "he said sh*t about your mom!" and "I just want to use the bathroom!" give you an idea of the atmosphere during this particular fight. Not all sections are like this, mind you, and at least the scene ends in a "hey-ay-ay" chant.
Given the NFL's crackdown on in-stadium fights -- offenders who are kicked out must complete a four-hour online course ($65) before they're allowed back into the stadium -- these often beer-induced quarrels are as popular as ever at games. According to the Buffalo News article linked below, between 75 and 150 fans are ejected from every game. We just have this one on camera, courtesy of bobsblitz.com.
