In this 1946 newsreel, the world was introduced to "bowling's electric brain," the automatic pinsetter.

According to the YouTube video description, this particular model, AMF 82-10, was an experimental machine unveiled in a Buffalo warehouse, across the street from the American Bowling Congress tournament.
