Mouse defends Buffalo - VIDEO

by S.J. Velasquez  •

A little mouse wreaked havoc at a Bisons game on Sunday, even biting a member of the opposing team.

According to the the Syracuse Chiefs YouTube page, a mouse ran from the Buffalo Bisons' dugout at Alliance Bank Stadium in Syracuse on Sunday, and it bolted onto the field. Members of the opposing team, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, tried capturing the little critter, but the mouse had other plans.

Yankees players scrambled for a few minutes, and then Chiefs' head groundskeeper John Stewart caught the mouse with a bucket.

"The mouse was fed and released back into the wild," the YouTube video description reads.

The Post-Standard reported that Yankees second basemen Corban Joseph tried to pick up the mouse with his bare hand, and the mouse bit him.
