Country duo Keifer and Shawna Thompson -- Thompson Square -- have made a major impression on the country music scene. Having only signed to a label in 2010, TS has toured, grown and found success early on. Buffalo.com's Bill Parker romped over to Club Paradise to capture the show -- a nice blend of smile shots and performance photos.

In honor of the Central Terminal’s 82nd anniversary of when the first train departed from the station in 1929, the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation is hosting Deco-Fest 2011: To Celebrate the Swing & Style of the Central Terminal on Friday night. Buffalo Gay Bingo is a little eccentric, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The monthly bingo night is nothing like the VFW post bingo nights you’re imaging. It’s fun, colorful and sassy. Attendees are encouraged to dress up according to theme, too, and this month’s theme is “Mickey and Minnie,” so break out the mouse ears and white gloves.
