Alphabetical Style: K

Learn your fashion ABCs with our style and beauty series, taking a look at trends, local shops and ideas—one letter at a time.
“Alphabetical Style” will break down a weekly list of five trends pertaining to the featured letter. From clothing pieces and accessories to hair styles and makeup, we’ll cover it all. Take a look at our “K-trends” including knit sweaters, knee-length boots, kissable lips, knotted scarves and kilt-inspired skirts.
Knit sweaters: whether you prefer cable, chunky or printed, knit sweaters will always be a winter staple. Stay cozy in bright colors, bold prints, soft fabrics and layer up!

Knee-length boots: the over-the-knee option to your favorite footwear can keep your knees cozy too. By toning down the rest of your accessories, you can rock these flashy shoes with ease.

Kissable lips: although I might have a slight obsession for bold lips, bright colors are not always smooch-worthy. Try a nice and neutral gloss or lip balm to make things less messy if things heat up.

Knotted scarves: you can never wear too many scarves during the winter season. Layer up a few thing pieces or knot up long necklaces that intertwine with your scarf as well. The possibilities are endless.

Kilt-inspired skirts: no need to go full Scottish on your wardrobe, but a long-pleated skirt can really add something to your wardrobe. This piece in army green is a great skirt to pair with a fitted sweater.
