Patent-toe pumps: forgo your classic black heels with a pop of color and metallic trim. Patent toe pumps are adding that little something extra to your show collection, and they are also an easy DIY project for an old pair of heels (hint: silver/gold sharpie).

Printed separates: Expected to hit stores on Feb. 10, the Prabal Garung for Target line is pretty incredible with interesting printed separates and pieces to add some pizazz to your closet. The bright florals will be here all season.

Peplum: the trend that will cease to disappear, peplum has made a huge impact and doesn’t show signs of stopping. The flattering cut looks great on all body types and can be easily fitted from a top or to create a sleek waistline on a dress.

Patterned pants: Macy’s has done it right with these vibrant printed pants that will be around for spring. Pairing neutral toned pants and a bold top or intensely patterned pants with a simple top can be a great look.

Playful pockets: unique zippered jean pockets are a very cool trend to look for on new jeans for spring. Never lose your ID card again the back pocket of your jeans—or was that just me? Zippered pockets will solve all your loose change probs.
