The curtain has closed on yet another New York Fashion Week.
Right on the verge of the Queen City’s own Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week, trends from the designers spring 2014 collections were both innovative and classic in their own ways.
“Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is New York City’s single largest media event, taking place twice a year (Feb. and Sept.) at Lincoln Center, one of the most well known arts and cultural institutions in the world, according to their website. “The event provides top designers an international platform to showcase their collections to more than 100,000 industry insiders from around the world, including buyers, editors, retailers, celebrities, VIPs, and more.”
Over 80 designers showed their collections during the past eight days from Sept. 5 to 12 for a first look at what we can expect in stores over the next six months to one year from now.
Here are some of the most popular trends from designers during the week. Good news is, you can get them all at the Walden Galleria.
