Seattle native, Sera Cahoone will be taking the stage at 7 p.m. on Feb. 10 in the Ninth Ward at Babeville. The singer-songwriter carries a casual chic look complete with button down shirts and laid-back jeans.

Her folk-inspired sound has an upbeat vibe with a haunting echo, that is sure to entertain music-lovers at the Ninth Ward. Tickets are on sale for $10 in advance and $12 at the door—check out Babeville’s website for details.

Instead of Sleeping, an unsigned act from Pittsburgh will be coming to The Forvm at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 alongside Doses, Friends You Can’t Kill, Emile Hawthorne and Skylight Stereo.

According to their website, ” Since 2010, Instead of Sleeping has evolved into a multi-instrumental outfit comprised to two drum kits, horns, keys, and a myriad of other sound that transforms the band from a traditional indie-rock quartet into a swelling stage presence that captivates audiences up and down the East Coast.”

With a low-key look, plaid button downs, jeans and t-shirts are a common look for band members Corey McClaine, Shaun Sweeney, Jeff Binando and Woody Wright. Tickets for the show are $8 pre-sale, $10 at the door and can be purchased through The Forvm’s website.
