Levi’s creates tiny replicas of entire clothing line

The denim geniuses behind the Levi’s brand have come up with an innovative, cost-efficient way of showcasing their collection – it’s just not for the farsighted.
Maurizio Donadi, head of Levi’s Vintage Clothing, has reproduced the entire Levi’s Vintage Clothing SS12 men’s line in miniature form. With a little help from the rest of the Levi’s Vintage Clothing team, Donadi has created tiny jeans, shirts and outerwear for display at trade shows.
The most impressive thing about this Polly Pocket-sized collection is that the clothes have the same attention to detail and careful craftsmanship that is the Levi’s signature: the clothing is made of high-quality materials with fashion-forward styling. Some of these teeny tiny pants are even faded, destroyed and rumpled as if they were worn for years by a teeny tiny man.
Beside the fact that this clothing collection is adorable and would fit your Ken doll perfectly, the idea is particularly brilliant in this economic climate – it likely costs 4 times as much to produce these clothes’ human-sized counterparts.
While it’s unlikely this replica collection will ever appear in stores (after all, who is in the market for a pair of jeans that will barely fit your thumb?), it is possible for guys to buy the full-sized thing in stores throughout the Western New York area.
Urban Outfitters at the Walden Galleria has quite the selection of Levi’s, from classic fit to ultra-skinny. Lord and Taylor, located on the second floor of the Walden Galleria Mall, boasts 17 different styles of Levi’s denim in various washes. For those unwilling to visit the mall, Urban Threads on Elmwood offers the brand as well.
