Shoptober Elmwood Village Bra Crawl - PHOTOS

The first Shoptober Elmwood Village Bra Crawl helped to raise cancer awareness and raise money for cancer research on Thursday night.
Over 40 businesses located on the Elmwood strip in the city of Buffalo participated in the event and donated 15 percent of sales from the night to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Shoppers enjoyed voting for their favorite custom decorated bras, extra perks such as free wine and appetizers, and the satisfaction of knowing their money stayed local while helping fight cancer at the same time.
The event was the product of Her Story Boutique owner Susan Morreale (pictured in the lead photo with her daughter Ciara Morreale) who told us she hopes to make this an annual part of the Elmwood Village community’s involvement with breast cancer awareness. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Morreale always looks to put on a fundraiser to benefit breast cancer awareness every October.
Check out the photo gallery to see shots of the fabulously decorated bras (donated by local business AuNaturel Boutique) and some of the shoppers and local business owners who participated in this worthy event.
