Closet Envy: Kadejah Henderson
In the first part of our new Closet Envy series at Buffalo.com, we will be taking a look at some of the most fashionable girls in Buffalo -- fashion models. These girls may walk the runway on a weekly basis, but we wanted to take a look at what they wear off the clock. They showed us their favorite outfits, pieces and accessories that any girl can rock through this city -- fashion model or not.
Our first model spotlight is on 18-year-old Kadejah Henderson who is a fashion textile/technology major at Buffalo State. The Rochester native has laid out a pretty ambitious college plan for herself. After finishing her first year studying at Buffalo State college, she will then do an exchange program in Los Angeles for her sophomore year, an exchange program in London for her junior year and finally her senior year will be spent studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Get it girl!
"I like to look classy on a budget, " said Henderson when we asked about her personal style. "I am always evolving and breaking rules when it comes to fashion. It really is about self-identifying with who you are."Some of her favorite places to shop in Buffalo include Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Bakers and Aldo for shoes, but she is always browsing the high0end stores for ideas to interpret into her own style.
With fashion inspirations from musical artists like Beyoncé and Rihanna, Henderson is a big fan of album artwork and music videos and the risks they take in fashion. We got a chance to check out Henderson's closet as she gave us advice on how to look chic in everyday situations. From running errands to date night -- the girl has style.

A big fan of fashion and style literature, she had a great selection of books on her desk as well. You can check out her fashion/modeling blog at http://www.kadesmode.com/ .
